Minutes to midnight

This is not another dear diary session. Dear diaries are for wussies. Whatever that means.

Dearest journal,

Today I woke up at 6am :D, and then I went to Ngee Ann Poly !!, and then I go software top-up -.-””’, and then it only took like 5 minutes xD and then I took 154 back home ^^.

Look. That’s so unprofessional and silly. So now let me start my lecture proper.

I snoozed for an hour when I was supposed to wake up at 6am. Really, I blame it on my internal clock. I wasted my energy heading down to Ngee Ann Polytechnic for some crappy software-installation workshop. Really, I spent 2 bucks and 2 hours of my life by travelling from my house to campus and vice versa. The whole installation took less than 5 minutes. I guess that’s why they call life a bitch.

I headed home before going back to my Secondary School. Oh don’t get all mistakened and call me a smurf. I’m back to look for my “self-proclaimed” blood brothers, Deon and Zeke. And in case some of you complain that I’m only eager to see them, you are right. I do not bullshit and say, oh no, I thought I’d say hi to you too.

Next paragraph; flip the page. Alright, the jackbass guard didn’t let me in Jurongville. Screw him. So I waited for Deon and Zeke at the guard post. Saw Alios with his fantastic hairstyle. (No pun intended.) He bent down to scramble up his shoelaces before walking off. No, he didn’t see me.

Proceeded to the basketball court whereby I sat in the shade, praying for some rainwater to quench my thrist, while watching my brothers unleash their mutative basketball genes.

It’s so good to see Deon and Zeke again, after hibernating in winter. (Note the usage of “good” and not “great”, “fantastic”, “Mumbai India”, or some other big-bum words. The importance is that you mean it.) Both their reception was warm and caring. Brilliant. Such concerned brothers.

After their games, Deon, Zeke and I walked to the bus-stop. Zeke had to head to Lakeside to top-up his card. Deon had to tail home. I had to choose to accompany one of my two brothers. What a dilemma. Took 99 home with Deon instead. The clouds gathered as a gang and formed the STORM alliance. Their faces grew grim and deadly. Chills were summoned and rain fell. Don’t worry the apocalypse is still far away. Okay, a thunderstorm. I texted Zeke that I’ll make it up to him the next time. Well, Zeke’s nice. Very nice.

Took 243W back to Jurong Point after reaching Deon’s bus stop. FINE! He doesn’t own the place but it’s just an expression, alright? Stocked on some worn apparel when I my other brother chained me down for a meeting at Taman Jurong Superbowl McDonalds. This time, it’s Juntai. Arrived 30 minutes late at the correct place as opposed to the assigned redezvous. Okay, weird sentence structure but it sounds cool.

Ate, slacked, talked. Ah, brothers.
